| How to get there |
| My main venue is The Violet Hill Studios, an alternative health centre at 6 Violet Hill in St Johns Wood. We use the Conference Room, up one flight of stairs. Violet Hill is a very small road behind the church on Abercorn Place, which runs between Maida Vale and Abbey Road. If you want to look it up on one of the map web sites such as multimap.com the post code is NW8 9EB |
| The nearest tube station, a three minute walk away, is Maida Vale on the Bakerloo Line. From the station exit, turn right and then walk straight ahead past two sets of traffic lights. The St Johns Wood tube on the Jubilee Line is about ten minutes walk. Busses along Maida Vale are 16, 16A and 98. Number 139 runs along Abbey Road. |
| If you come by car, free parking is available at the weekends in resident bays. There are also pay-and-display areas nearby and single yellow lines. |
| Tea, coffee and lunch breaks |
The seminar fee includes tea and coffee but not meals. A variety of restaurants and cafes are close by for the lunch breaks, or you can bring
your own. |
| Tea (English and herb teas) and coffee (instant) will be provided for breaks during the day, with fresh milk. Please bring anything else you might want to drink such as bottled water, take-away brewed coffee or juice. |
| You are welcome to bring anything you want to eat during the day, including a packed lunch to eat at the venue when we break at 1pm. There are a number of cafes close by which offer a wide range of lunches, from soup and sandwich for about £5 to steak and Thai menus for about £10. Sample menus will be available to help you choose where to go. There is a small refrigerator for us to use at the venue. |
